Skid Mansion
The benefits of owning a house in an online text based game are many. Firstly, that house, can be and is, what ever you can dream of. Nobody really knows what or where Skid Mansion is, all we know is it is out there somewhere and within every Skids vivid imagination. Skid Mansion would be best described as something between Dr Frank N Furter's house, from the Rocky Horror Picture show, which doubled as a space craft, and Dr Who's, Tardis, with a hint of the Munsters house and a pinch of The Adams family Mansion. Its a complicated place.
To go into detail would take up more space than a free web page can provide and possibly break the boundaries of the internet. On this page we will tell you what we know, but if you can think of a feature in a house, Skid Mansion has it.
The original cottage (left) was purchased in 2005. While it was a modest dwelling it came with a sizely block of land allowing for future development. The land straddles the boarders of 5 states and 12 country's. The location remains secret to this day.
The cottage is now used as a guest house for visiting dignitaries.
No sooner had the Skids settled into their new, modest, dwelling the renovations began. The estate today boast more than 65 main buildings as well as numerous other structures. All the works were, and still are done, utilizing recycled materials and a simple home handy man tool kit. The labor is undertaken by the newest members with encouragement, from senior members, in the form of the proven punishment and reward motivation theory.
